E-Bike journeys, easy mountain bike loops, longer touring routes or just a pedal out to get awesome views of the mountains. Hidden Fort William is here to get you out on a bike around Scotland.
Fort William is a brilliant place to explore by bike, biking allows us to travel a bit further and see places that on foot would take up a whole day but on bike we can visit as part of a tour and enjoy the journey as we go.
A few ideas of our favourite and most popular routes are below, however if you have something specific you would like to get out of your time in Fort William then please let us know and we can tailor a trip to you.
Glencoe Lochan and Valley
Starting with a loop around Glencoe Lochan we can then journey out to see the sights of Glencoe, either up the back road to visit the famous Clachaig Inn, home of many a famous climbing story, or out along the brilliant cycle path towards Oban with views out towards Mull and Lismore. Stunning mountain and sea views are what these rides are all about.
Glen Nevis has lots to explore by bike, from the winding paths following the river, to the forest track climbing up the side of the valley to Dun Deardail, the Iron age fort overlooking the glen. Setting off from the visitor centre and journeying by E-bike is a great addition to any trip to Fort William
Great Glen Way
Stretching from Fort William to Inverness the great glen is a continuous valley filled with a series of Lochs, rivers and canals and some stunning scenery. Journey with us along the brilliant cycle path and visit some of the awesome viewpoints along the way, maybe even catch sight of Nessie along Loch Ness.
We can do private tours for individuals or groups throughout the year, this can include hire bikes if needed. We also run group rides throughout the summer which anyone can book on to.
Check our calendar for the scheduled group rides we have running throughout the summer period and message us to check as often we can put tours on.
